Sold your soul for some secular musac that's wack!!

The Queen of Bossa-Nova, Astrud Gilberto. Born March 29, 1940... Brazilian singer best known for her samba and bossa nova music, most famously as the vocalist on the Grammy Award-winning song "The Girl from Ipanema". This song happens to be one of my favorites. It feels good away from the imagery which is the best copy on youtube I could find. It has a classic, tuxedo, fast car, sexy, black and white, timeless, glamourous feel to it... if you feel me.

SMOKES!!

Still smoking sexy...

PS: I do not smoke...

Cholera

I watched this movie yesterday based on the book by Gabriel García Márquez with the same name. It is set in South America in the late 1800's. A sad and long love story about a man who spends all his life waiting to marry a woman he has loved since his youth (50 some odd years). Jarvier Bardem's aging process is incredible to watch. The lead girl, Giovanna Mezzogiorno, is very famous in Italy and she is agonizingly good also... An incredible cast of foreign talent. I think Benjamin Bratt who was also very good to watch might of been the only well know American ... Oh! and John Leguizamo is always a pleasure as well, he's very intense in this. Nice to see him in a period piece.

The city...

I spent the last four days in the city and the Hamptons, and most of my shopping was done in Soho which was pretty close to the Hotel ( Tribecca Grand) that I stayed at. Topman happen to be the store that I was most connected too. The clothing were exceptional and very reasonably priced. I find my shopping attitude now a days to be well thought out as opposed to the impulsive purchases that I was a custome too. I actually go to every store and browse now a days and go back again and try to match up pieces. I even sleep on expensive items for a few days now before deciding to purchase or not.

Anyways, I had this strange thing that kept happening to me while in the city. Every store that I went too people assumed that I was an employee there... Friends assured me that it was complimentary but I have not come to peace with that as of yet, uhmmmmm.

I'm listed.

I recently starred in my first feature called "Just Another Day" opposite this man, Wood Harris (The Wire). I played a young record executive named "Philip". Set to be released 2010, it is directed and co-written by Peter Spirer who was once nominated for an Oscar. A small role but nonetheless a major milestone for me, as it afforded me a SAG card and an IMDB credit.
