Bored To Death

I think this might be might new favorite show during my True Blood interim. Schawrtzman is hilarious... The Ted Danson character is nice also. He reminds me of a posh like Larry David.

I MISS THESE DAYS!!!

I'm feeling like this lately... Nostalgic if you will. It feels really good and I get sad knowing that it will never happen again like this in rap music. I love a lot of what we have now but It was just a different feeling back then... a different time. I went back today to Bahamadia "3 the hard way", Digible Planets "9th Wonder", Keith Murray " The Most Beautifullest Thing in this World" and Eric Sermon Ft Keith Murray " Your Quite Hostile"... OH! and one of my all time favorite feel good records, Pete Rock and C L Smooth " Reminisce". This all started last week from a long ass road trip where I got tired of everything on my IPOD and created a Nice-N-Smooth radio on Pandora, and this feeling still lingers. Last Saturday night or early 5:00AM Sunday morning. I found myself with some old friends playing Nas "Illmatic", "It was Written" and some old Mobb Deep and Everything WU-TANG. Everything just sounded so fresh and brand new lke a record that just dropped yesterday that we all just happen to know every word too. Good times, good memories attached to those records...

I'm posting "Hip Hop Junkie" because that was the catalyst for me... I feel like I should start a classic file separate from my music file, uhh.
